Just like a prior post I did on the direct similarities of Joseph to JESUS in the Bible and the connections to the coming rapture, I want to talk about Moses’ similarities to JESUS and the connection to rapture:
In the character of Moses in the Bible, we see some major parallels of him to JESUS CHRIST. And because there are so many similar characteristics, we can see that the parting of the Red Sea is a form and type of the rapture of the church, and foretelling of an event that will be even greater than the one of escape out of Egypt.
When we see Moses moving the people out of Egypt these are GOD’s chosen people, just as the church that is raptured is also the chosen church of GOD in the same way. We see at the time of Moses leading the people out of Egypt the rescue GOD provides seems beyond anyone’s expectations and truly miraculous. The rapture in the same way, will be on a level of supernatural that the world has yet to witness. Just like the parting of the Red Sea was spoken of for centuries, so will the rapture be spoken of for eternity as the most amazing rescue mission of all time.
The significance of Moses leading the people out of Egypt is a significant foretelling of the Bride of CHRIST currently by the power and guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT being removed from the ways of the World which is definitely a type of “Egypt.” Ancient Egypt has been known as a dark and evil Kingdom that GOD punished for their evil. The Egypt of the Exodus story (please read if you have not yet done so), was known for many abominations against GOD, including its vast involvement with false gods, graven images, divination, occult activities, and its leader Pharoah, also a kind of antichrist.
The similarities between what GOD has already done and what GOD has already proposed to soon be doing are uncanny between events surrounding the parting of the Red Sea and the upcoming rapture of the church. And the true soon-to-be-raptured church is leaving the evil world right now spiritually, like evil Egypt behind in its heart. It is the one church of all that doesn’t look back like Lot’s wife to a broken, lost world. The parallels are not just amazing; they are confirming that we can trust GOD in what HE is saying in scripture that there will be a rapture and rescue and HE has already done it before and HE will do it again. We can rest our heads on the shoulder of the GOD who says what HE’s going to do and then does what HE said HE would do. The form and type or model example can already be seen so we know beyond doubt there is a “Blessed Hope” ahead for those who are “in” the world, but not “of” the world.

BOTH HAVE THEIR AUTHORITY CHALLENGED BY THE PEOPLE
BOTH ARE CONNECTED TO THE ARK OF THE COVENANT: THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, THE STAFF OF AARON, THE MANNA FROM HEAVEN. WHILE ONE HANDLES THE ITEMS, THE OTHER, CHRIST IS REPRESENTED BY THEM, THE WAY, THE TRUTH, THE LIFE
BOTH PRESENT THE LAW TO THE PEOPLE: ONE ON STONE TABLETS (MOSES) AND ONE WRITTEN ON THE HEART (JESUS)
BOTH SPEND TIME AWAY FROM THE PEOPLE, ONE FORTY YEARS, THE OTHER FORTY DAYS
BOTH SPEND TIME AWAY WITH GOD THE FATHER WHILE MINISTERING TO THE PEOPLE
BOTH ARE SENT TO BE REPRESENTATIVES FOR GOD THE FATHER TO THE PEOPLE
BOTH PASS FROM THIS LIFE AND ARE MOURNED DEEPLY BY THE PEOPLE
BOTH HAVE DEALINGS WITH THE KINGS AND LEADERSHIP OF THEIR TIME
BOTH ARE SENT TO THE PEOPLE BY GOD THE FATHER
BOTH WALK IN HUMILITY AND AUTHORITY BEFORE THE PEOPLE
BOTH ARE LOVED BY GOD THE FATHER
BOTH ARE INTERCEDING BETWEEN GOD THE FATHER AND THE PEOPLE
BOTH ARE PART OF FANTASTIC WATER MIRACLES ALTERING THE VERY NATURE OF IT, ONE PARTING THE WATER, THE OTHER CALMING IT AND WALKING ON IT
BOTH LEAVE SUDDEN DESTRUCTION IN THE WAKE OF THE SUPERNATURAL ESCAPE (RED SEA PARTING AND RAPTURE)
