Just as the days of Noah…

ungodly who were lost but he was promoting righteousness:

2 Peter 2:5 (KJV): And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

1 Peter 3:20 says Noah’s focus was on GOD and doing HIS will to prepare the ark. It never suggests that Noah was caught up in the issues and affairs of those he was preaching to and trying to warn:

1 Peter 3:20 (KJV): Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

Hebrews 11:7 says that by faith Noah moved to the beat of a different drummer–he did not look like the world but rather was moved with the fear of GOD to do what others thought was crazy to build an ark and to warn the people.

Hebrews 11:7 (KJV): By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Okay, this is what was going on that caused the LORD to remove Noah and family and leave the rest behind:

Genesis 6:5 (KJV): And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

So, the changed heart is the heart that willingly surrenders and adopts the Will of the FATHER which is the Bride, the church. So, everyone else including the half-hearted lukewarm would be called wicked with every imagination of the thoughts of their hearts only evil continually because they are operating outside the FULL (not partial) will of GOD…

Genesis 6:8 (KJV): But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Noah found grace because he was surrendered fully to GOD’s will and therefore not considered to be wicked or evil-hearted and you can be surrendered too just like Noah was.

Genesis 6:9 (KJV): These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

And so Noah walked with GOD just as did Enoch before him.

Genesis 6:11-13(KJV): 11The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. 13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Genesis 6:11-13 said that GOD saw the earth filled with violence, corruption and this means that these people had the mind of GOD’s enemy and not the Will of GOD and that is how it is today. Only the bride of CHRIST has the mind and will of GOD while everyone else is operating in the will of the enemy (the lukewarm church has leaven).

Genesis 7:1 (KJV): And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before ME in this generation.

So GOD was saying to Noah that of the people on the earth Noah had the Will of GOD and was considered righteous and this is who the bride of CHRIST is today. She is like Noah and her focus is on GOD and not the evil of the rest of the world that is outside the will of GOD. GOD is saying to Noah prepare to be set apart from the others who will not accept MY Will and get ready to be removed from their midst. For Noah it was the ark–for the church or bride it is the rapture.

So just like Noah who was looking toward entering the ark, so does the bride look to the coming return of CHRIST. Does the bride focus on the affairs of this world? No more than Noah involved himself with the affairs of those who were soon to be left behind because they refused to believe in the words the LORD had given him to build an ark and prepare to board it.
