We need the FULLNESS of the HOLY SPIRIT to…
…understand the Bible–cannot be done without a FULL LAMP
….forgive and love your enemies–cannot be done without the FULLNESS of the HOLY SPIRIT.
….conquer bad habits; sin habits; vices; additions; evil–you’ve got to have the commandments of GOD written on the heart–you need the FULLNESS of the HOLY SPIRIT
….endure persecution–without a full relationship with the HOLY SPIRIT persecution will be more challenging–it will more easily lead to bitterness; revenge; hatred; jealousy; and anger.
….go the right direction–without the HOLY SPIRIT you might as well wear blinders–you’re lost.
….avoid traps–without the discernment of the HOLY SPIRIT on board you can’t tell right from wrong and you’re going to fall into traps of false doctrines, false prophets, false churches.
….run the race–without the fullness of the HOLY SPIRIT you’ll never go the distance, you’ll fizzle out and turn down rabbit holes and fall off the narrow path.
We need the HOLY SPIRIT–not just the lukewarm partially filled lamp version–we NEED HIM ALL–and if you don’t believe this–you’ve never experienced the fullness of the HOLY SPIRIT–because once you do–you are terrified to ever return to your lukewarm condition.
HOW DO YOU GET FILLED? REPENT OF PAST SIN–ACKNOWLEDGE JESUS’ GIFT OF DEATH ON THE CROSS–SURRENDER FULLY TO JESUS–ASK FOR YOUR WILL TO BE EXCHANGED WITH THE WILL OF THE FATHER–ASK TO BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT–READ YOUR BIBLE DAILY AS DISCIPLES/DISCIPLINED–SEEK THE LORD ALL THROUGH YOUR DAY AND GET TO “KNOW” HIM: MATT 7:21-23
