One time, during my prayer time, the LORD spoke to me about the Bible and how under-utilized it is by HIS people…HE gave me a vision as HE was telling me that when people don’t get into their Bibles, the enemy will feed them all kinds of lies about themselves, about what GOD requires, about GOD, about sin and so many other things. In the vision I saw someone sitting down but his hands and feet were bound up and he had a gag tied around his mouth. Then I saw a Bible near the man and it turned into a sword, and the sword came to the man and cut his bindings to set him free. We need our sword, and we need to know how to use it. Without the HOLY SPIRIT we cannot understand the deeper meaning of the Bible. We have to have GOD’s eyes and understanding to know the original thoughts of GOD and not the twisted and polluted interpretations of men.
Hebrews 4:12 (KJV): For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Ephesians 6:17 (KJV): And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
