Being Stiff-necked and the Occult Connection
The LORD gave me a personal revelation so I will share it. I was deep into the study of Song of Solomon for a prior retreat I was teaching on and in the study we see Solomon, who represents symbolically JESUS, admiring the chain on the Bride’s neck (we also see chains in the Temple of Solomon in the decorations in Chronicles). But the symbolism here is that the “neck” represents the human will to GOD and we see that her will (or neck) is “chained” to the will of GOD ravishing the heart of CHRIST. So here are those two scriptures:
Song of Solomon 1:10 (KJV): Thy cheeks are comely with rows of jewels, thy neck with chains of gold.
Song of Solomon 4:9 (KJV): 9 Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one chain of thy neck.
Now in contrast we see GOD talking about the stiff-necked who are the stubborn and rebellious outside of GOD’s Will. We see several references to people who are stiff-necked in the Bible: Exodus 32:9 (KJV): And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiff-necked people:
So here’s the occult connection to being stiff-necked: It’s no accident that when you see vampires in movies drinking blood from the victim’s neck! Vampires represent the demonic, but they are drinking the life blood out of the neck and basically taking control or the person’s “will”. It’s symbolic of taking over the person by the devil. (Have you seen a recent obsession for movies and TV shows about vampires?) Now what about being stiff-necked is significant? Well, when something is dead or frozen like a corpse it becomes “stiff”.
So, this is symbolic for the “human will” to be dead or stiff or without the life blood of GOD (WHO alone gives life). So the person who is outside of GOD’s Will (that includes the lukewarm church) have a human will that is lifeless or stiff/dead. So don’t be caught with a “will” that is stiff or dead or stiff-necked—surrender to the Will of the FATHER through CHRIST’s gift of salvation and the full oil lamp WHO is the HOLY SPIRIT. There is no other way….
