MATTHEW 10:42

While at one of my son’s baseball games, one of his fellow players ran over to his parents because he was sick and throwing up.  After a couple minutes, I went over to the child’s mom and offered to get some water for him.  She did not hesitate to say, “Yes” to my offer for water.  So, I ran over to my son and told him I needed his unopened cold-water bottle. He gave me his water, so I could give to the sick baseball player.  After purchasing a new bottle for my son, we had to leave the game early to go to another activity.  While we were riding in the car, I turned on the CD player and my son’s Bible story CD was playing and the narrator on his CD immediately proceeded to read a Bible verse. Here is that verse:

Matthew 10:42: And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
