When Christians reject the keeping of the Ten Commandments (one or more of them) then they are indicating that they are both lukewarm toward CHRIST as their LORD and MASTER of their life and outside the Will of the FATHER. If they were not “nominal” Christians they would have the law written on their heart…
When CHRIST suggested that the people “eat HIS flesh” and “drink HIS blood” it meant much more then to foretell the future act of “taking communion” it was literally foretelling that the true bride of CHRIST would be so fully surrendered to CHRIST that the “LAW” would not be on stone tablets anymore but “consumed” by them and so then “written on the fleshy tables of their heart.” The New Covenant would not be a cold one of stone tablets but of the “heart” and a marriage of sorts: being ONE with CHRIST…
We know that CHRIST is the embodiment of the Ten Commandments–how do we know? Because the very contents of the Ark of the Covenant REPRESENT CHRIST:
-The manna is the bread–which represents CHRIST as the LIFE
-The staff of Aaron which represents CHRIST as the WAY
-The Tablets with the Ten Commandments which represents CHRIST as the TRUTH
THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE WHO IS CHRIST
And so you can’t eliminate the Ten Commandments because CHRIST is the TRUTH and when we surrender to CHRIST and take communion that represents eating HIS flesh and drinking HIS blood which MEANS WE LITERALLY ARE MOVING THE TRUTH FROM STONE TABLES TO FLESHY TABLES OF THE HEART….Notice in this transferring of the TRUTH from stone tables to fleshy tables of the heart–NO ONE TOOK A PEN AND DELETED ANY OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IN THIS AMAZING TRANSFER….ALL TEN ARE INTACT (DESPITE WHAT THE LUKEWARM CHURCH WANTS TO BELIEVE)…
When we surrender our ALL TO CHRIST (PARTIAL SURRENDER IS NOT GOING TO CUT IT)–THEN we are literally drinking the Blood and eating the Flesh of CHRIST and HE IS PUTTING HIS LAW IN OUR “INWARD PARTS”–WRITING IT IN OUR HEARTS…
Jeremiah 31:33 (AKJV): but this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I WILL PUT MY LAW IN THEIR INWARD PARTS, and write it in their hearts; and will be their GOD, and they shall be MY people.
It is a transformation of the HEART–it is LOVE THAT DRIVES US TO LOVE all Ten of the Commandments–if someone says that any or all of the Commandments are no longer in effect–then they are literally rejecting CHRIST and they have not had the “HEART” change that comes with a full surrender to CHRIST, the HOLY SPIRIT and the FATHER….
John 6:54 (AKJV): Whoso eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Psalm 40:8 AKJV: I delight to do THY Will my GOD: yea, THY Law is within my heart.
2 Corinthians 3:3 (AKJV): forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of CHRIST ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the SPIRIT of the Living GOD; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
