Matthew 7:21-23: Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my Father
which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
People want to know about denominations that people belong to, but these are manmade. The seven churches JESUS speaks of in Revelation 2 and 3 are not about denominations, they are about people groups and their beliefs within churches.
But here is the absolute key: you must be surrendered to the Will of the FATHER through the sacrifice of JESUS CHRIST WHO gave His own blood on the cross so that you can surrender your own will and be brought back into the Will of the FATHER. Here’s the reality: every human being born into the earth comes into their own will, aka the flesh as a cursed humanity, salvation lost by our forefathers in the Garden.
Until you make that surrender you operate in your own personal “doctrine.” Everyone has one. I’m not talking about denominations, I’m talking about the will of the individual. Each person has their own personal rules to live by, based on their own set of beliefs/experiences. And it is the Wild West of Christianity. One person may think going to church is all you have to do while they spend time watching horror and R-rated movies on the weekend. Another person may think adultery is okay while they hate abortion…and on and on and on. But once the individual surrenders to the Will of the FATHER, not only are they choosing the perfect direction for their life, but they are also brought into GOD’s views and ways. GOD in turn then takes over and carefully and purposefully leads you into HIS Will for your life. But HE will not force HIS Will on anyone, you have to choose whether you want to be apart from GOD for eternity or led by the HOLY SPIRIT into the Ways of GOD, receiving the Mind of CHRIST. Once you repent and surrender to the receive the salvation of JESUS and to give up your own (evil) will then GOD comes in and begins to change your heart, little by little, through HIS Word and leadership. Give yourself over to GOD, it will be the best decision you have ever made.
