I have read so many comments and heard from so many people that it doesn’t matter if the rapture is pre-trib, post-trib, or mid-trib. You know what? It matters. Why? Because each perspective changes the whole understanding of the Bible. You can’t have all three views, and have an accurate understanding of the Bible. Pre-trib is the only concept that fits the scripture. Mid- and Post-trib requires twisting scripture to work.
Let me give you something to consider: We are in the church age as described in chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation. The Restrainer in Thessalonians is the HOLY SPIRIT within the full oil lamp church and when the Restrainer is removed the Antichrist is revealed. Before that he is merely the son of perdition/man of lawlessness. So if the Restrainer (HOLY SPIRIT within the full oil lamp virgins) is removed–that has to be the END of the church age. And if it is the end of the church age then it is the end of an era and the beginning of a new era which is the rule of the Antichrist over mankind which is called “tribulation.” This scenario is absolutely impossible if rapture is mid- or post-trib.
