The first time I was beginning to realize people could hear from GOD I had an amazing experience:
I used to have serious doubts about my salvation and when I ran across Hebrews 12:2, I was so excited that Jesus is the Author and “Finisher” of our faith. Many, many times I would often talk to Him reminding Him that He is “The Finisher!” and calling Him that all the time. I had never told anyone else this. It was exclusively between me and Christ.
Here is Hebrews 12:2: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Then one day, someone who hears from GOD informed me they had a word for me and the LORD said to me through a letter I received “I AM YOUR FINISHER.” I thought I was going to fall out of my chair! Because no one else ever knew I frequently called HIM “the FINISHER.”
