A couple years ago, I had a brief, but intense vision. I saw people walking as if in slow motion. They were pale in appearance and like walking dead people. I was in the vision with the people only I was moving around them in rapid speed begging the lifeless people to wake up and to come back to life. The people continued to walk in slow motion completely unaware of my movement around them to plead and urge them to wake up.
This verse seems to come to mind when I think of this vision: 1 Corinthians 1:18 (KJV): For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. So until we surrender our lives over to the LORD completely we are perishing, we are heading to eternal death apart from CHRIST’s Lifeblood.
Here are some important warnings for this end times hour:
1. Full Surrender vs. Lukewarm: Without a full surrender to the LORD (your life; your will in exchange for the Father’s Will; future plans and goals), the LORD considers you to be lukewarm and therefore lost.
2. Trivializing the Sacrifice of Christ: You are exposed to easy access and so much opportunity to know about GOD and the incredible ransom the LORD paid for mankind, yet if you reject this Truth when it is so easily available to you; you will be held at a higher level of accountability for rejecting such a precious Truth. Hebrews 10:28-31(KJV): He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the SPIRIT of grace? 30For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
3. Continual Rejection of GOD by Seeking Answers from the World: People continue to turn to the world for all their answers…but there is only one rock—everything else is sinking sand. Instead of trusting exclusively in CHRIST, people go back to the world for answers and GOD says: James 4:4 (KJV): Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Romans 1:24 (KJV): Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Hebrews 10:39 (KJV): But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
4. Not Cognizant of the Urgency of the Times: In the parable of the ten virgins, five had no oil in their lamps and were locked out after the BRIDEGROOM came and received the five virgins who did have the oil in their lamps. The BRIDEGROOM admonishes the ones without oil and says to them, “I KNOW YOU NOT.” So this parable has some important points. Those without the fullness of the HOLY SPIRIT, the lamp oil, were not watching for the BRIDEGROOM; they were left behind; and then the BRIDEGROOM did not even acknowledge knowing them ultimately. So without a full surrender to Christ and a total filling of the HOLY SPIRIT by giving your life to the LORD completely, it will seem strange to you when people tell you that we are living in the end times. Surrender your complete will to the LORD and discover the Truth.
Matthew 25:3 (KJV): They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them
